Information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with BUILT, we may collect information such as your name, email address, contact details, assessment responses and scores, programme participation information, enquiries, purchase information, communications and information you voluntarily provide while using BUILT services.
Payment-card information is generally processed directly by our payment providers rather than stored by BUILT.
Why we use your information
We may use personal information to:
provide the BUILT Assessment and personalised results;
administer purchases and programme access;
deliver courses, coaching and community services;
communicate with you about services you have requested;
provide customer support;
maintain appropriate safeguarding arrangements;
keep necessary business, accounting and legal records;
send marketing communications where you have chosen to receive them;
improve the operation and delivery of BUILT.
Legal bases
Depending on the circumstances, we may process information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, take steps at your request before entering a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate business interests, or because you have given consent.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Marketing
Receiving assessment results or purchasing a BUILT product does not automatically mean that you have agreed to marketing.
Where consent is required, marketing consent will be requested separately. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Young people
BUILT is currently intended for people aged 16 and over.
Participants aged 16 or 17 may be subject to additional safeguarding, consent, payment or parent/guardian arrangements depending on the service.
BUILT does not currently accept participants under 16.
Sharing information
BUILT may use trusted service providers to operate its services, including providers used for website hosting, email, payments, course delivery, communications, video calls and cloud-based resources.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including contractual, safeguarding, accounting and legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and consent.

You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
These Terms apply when you use BUILT websites, assessments, digital resources, courses, coaching, communities or other services.
About BUILT
BUILT provides personal-development education and coaching.
BUILT is not a medical, psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric, legal, financial or crisis-support service.
The BUILT Assessment is designed as a personal-development and self-reflection tool. It is not a clinical diagnosis or validated medical or psychological assessment.
Eligibility
BUILT services are intended for people aged 16 and over.
People aged 18 or over may purchase directly.
Anyone aged 16 or 17 must follow any additional parent or guardian process required by BUILT before purchasing or joining paid programmes.
Purchases
The relevant sales or checkout page will state the principal features and price of the product or service being purchased.
Where an instalment plan is offered, it is a method of paying the agreed purchase price over time unless expressly described as a subscription.
Digital access
Digital access is personal to the participant.
You must not share your account, distribute BUILT materials, resell resources or provide unauthorised access to another person.
Coaching and communities
Participants must behave respectfully.
Harassment, bullying, exploitation, discriminatory abuse, threatening behaviour or serious disruption may result in proportionate action, including removal from sessions or termination of access.
Participants must not record or redistribute another person's contributions without appropriate permission.
Your responsibility
BUILT provides frameworks, education, tools and support. You remain responsible for your own choices, actions and implementation.
Individual outcomes differ and BUILT does not guarantee any particular result.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, BUILT materials, frameworks, videos, assessments, workbooks, trackers, written content and associated resources remain the intellectual property of BUILT or its licensors.
Purchasing a product gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use those materials for your own development.
Third-party platforms
Some BUILT services depend upon third-party platforms. Your use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and policies.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights which cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Liability
BUILT does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
BUILT does not operate a blanket “all sales are final” policy.
Online purchases
Consumers purchasing online will generally have a 14-day statutory cancellation period, subject to applicable exceptions.
Digital content
Where digital content is supplied immediately, you may be asked to expressly:
consent to supply beginning during the 14-day cancellation period, and
acknowledge that once supply begins, you will lose your statutory cancellation right relating to that digital content.
The cancellation right is lost only where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.
This does not affect statutory remedies where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements.
Services
Where coaching or another service begins within a statutory cancellation period, BUILT may ask you to expressly request that the service starts early.
If you subsequently exercise a valid right to cancel, BUILT may be entitled, where permitted by law, to charge a proportionate amount for services already provided.
Mixed programmes
Where a programme contains both digital content and services, different cancellation rules may apply to different elements of the purchase.

No particular result is guaranteed.

Where required, non-essential analytics or marketing technologies should only operate after the appropriate consent has been obtained.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Certain BUILT tools, including the BUILT Assessment, may use browser storage to remember progress or maintain functionality.
Third parties
Third-party platforms used by BUILT may set or use their own cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Additional safeguards may apply, including parent or guardian involvement where appropriate, controlled purchase arrangements and additional consent procedures.
BUILT will not automatically contact a parent or guardian where doing so could increase risk or where the parent or guardian may be implicated in the concern.
Conduct
